Caregiver

About the Role

Westhaven is seeking compassionate, reliable Caregivers to join our Assisted Living team. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling for those eager to make a real difference in the daily lives of older adults. You'll work alongside a dedicated team where your contributions directly improve residents' wellbeing and comfort in their home away from home.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs
• Help with meals, dining, and nutritional support
• Provide companionship and emotional support to older adults
• Support mobility and transfer assistance as needed
• Maintain residents' rooms and common areas to ensure a clean, safe environment
• Respond compassionately to residents' requests and concerns
• Work collaboratively with nursing and care team staff
• Maintain accurate, respectful documentation of care provided

What We're Looking For

• Genuine compassion and patience for working with seniors and older adults
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist with light lifting and mobility support
• Dependability and commitment to punctuality
• Ability to maintain dignity and respect for all residents
• Experience in caregiving or healthcare is a plus—we're willing to train the right person
