About the Role

As a Medical Laboratory Technician with Community Health Systems, you'll perform essential diagnostic work that directly supports clinical decision-making for our patients. Operating in a fast-paced lab environment, you'll handle specimen collection, preparation, and analysis while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and safety.

What You'll Do

• Collect and process blood samples and other specimens from patients with precision and compassion
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests using automated and manual techniques
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results in compliance with medical standards
• Follow strict quality control and safety protocols to maintain lab certification and patient safety
• Communicate findings promptly to clinical staff and physicians
• Maintain a clean, organized lab workspace and manage inventory of supplies and reagents

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Laboratory Technician certification preferred or obtainable
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in test processing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position
