About the Role
Aequor is recruiting an experienced CT Technician for a temporary travel assignment in Brandon, FL. Working nights on a 12-hour shift schedule, you'll provide essential CT imaging support at a healthcare facility. This is an opportunity to advance your career through travel work in a new market.
What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain computed tomography (CT) scanning equipment according to established protocols
- Prepare patients for CT imaging procedures and ensure their safety and comfort during scans
- Position patients correctly and use proper shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to patient needs during imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures
- Perform routine equipment quality assurance and safety checks
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Adhere to all radiation safety regulations and facility protocols
What We're Looking For
- Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent state certification)
- Valid license to practice as a CT Tech in Florida
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on CT imaging experience
- Strong knowledge of CT scanning techniques, radiation safety, and patient care standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to a new healthcare environment
- Valid healthcare provider CPR certification preferred
