OPS Security Group is hiring an Armed Security Officer for our day shift position at Fort Indiantown Gap in Annville. This is a full-time role protecting critical government and high-security facilities where your training, vigilance, and professionalism make a direct impact on mission success.
About the Role
As an Armed Security Officer with an ACT-235 certification, you'll be the eyes and ears of our operation. This position supports the security and protection of government assets and personnel in a structured, mission-critical environment where consistency and clear expectations matter. You'll work a stable day shift schedule from 6 am to 4 pm, allowing you to plan your personal life with confidence.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and control access to secure facilities and restricted areas
- Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, vehicles, and materials entering and exiting the compound
- Maintain constant awareness of facility security posture and potential threats
- Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations
- Document all security incidents and maintain accurate logs
- Communicate effectively with facility staff, law enforcement, and supervisors
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas
What We're Looking For
- Current ACT-235 armed security certification (Pennsylvania)
- Ability to carry and responsibly handle a firearm
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication abilities
- Commitment to following protocols and attention to detail
- Reliability and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Background clearance eligibility
