About the Role
As Lead Director of Network Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, you'll own the strategic direction and operational oversight of compliance initiatives that safeguard our network, stakeholders, and patients. You'll partner with clinical, operational, and legal teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable compliance frameworks that protect CVS Health's reputation and ensure our organization operates with the highest standards of integrity and accountability.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring systems across the network
- Oversee regulatory affairs strategy and maintain collaborative relationships with state and federal regulators to ensure alignment with evolving legal requirements
- Build and mentor a compliance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Conduct compliance risk assessments, audits, and investigations to identify and remediate gaps
- Develop training programs and communication strategies to embed compliance into daily operations
- Track regulatory changes and advise internal stakeholders on implications for business processes and policy
- Report on compliance metrics and performance to executive leadership and the board
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of compliance, regulatory affairs, or audit experience in healthcare—pharmacy, health plans, or network operations preferred
- Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or equivalent professional certification such as CCEP or CCHO) or extensive demonstrated expertise
- Proven leadership experience managing large, cross-functional teams
- Deep knowledge of healthcare regulatory landscape (CMS, state pharmacy boards, managed care regulations)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
