About the Role
We're searching for a reliable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician who takes genuine satisfaction in keeping our properties functioning smoothly. In this position, you'll respond to maintenance needs in a dynamic environment, solving problems hands-on and ensuring our facilities remain safe and well-maintained. You'll work independently while collaborating with our property management team to address issues before they escalate.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, HVAC equipment, and facility infrastructure
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues quickly and professionally
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders with efficiency and thoroughness
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential problems early
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, materials, and time spent on each task
- Ensure all work complies with safety codes and building regulations
- Coordinate with property management on maintenance priorities and scheduling
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar maintenance-focused role
- Technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or general property maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safety and adherence to code requirements
- Dependable work ethic and ability to thrive in a varied, sometimes unpredictable workday
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Openness to learning new systems and procedures
