DOT Administrator

About the Role

As a DOT Administrator, you'll serve as a key compliance and operational resource for our fleet and transportation operations. You'll manage the documentation and regulatory requirements that keep our operations running smoothly while ensuring every team member stays safe and compliant with Department of Transportation standards. This role combines administrative expertise with an understanding of federal transportation rules, making you essential to our company's reputation and safety record.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and organize DOT regulatory documentation, including driver qualifications files and vehicle records
• Monitor driver compliance with federal hours-of-service regulations and safety requirements
• Prepare and submit required DOT reports and certifications to regulatory agencies
• Coordinate safety audits and respond to inspection findings
• Track vehicle maintenance records and ensure regulatory compliance across the fleet
• Update internal processes and procedures to reflect changing DOT regulations
• Support management with policy development and employee training on transportation regulations
