About the Role
This remote, full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives managing complex details in a fast-paced environment. As an Escrow Specialist Closer, you'll be the trusted point of contact guiding clients and internal teams to successful, timely transaction closes using our proprietary closing systems.
What You'll Do
- Maintain regular, clear communication with clients throughout the closing process to ensure smooth progression and address questions promptly
- Record all transaction details into the company system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with loan and client requirements
- Calculate, enter, and reconcile closing costs and disbursement amounts, including recording fees, mortgage taxes, lender payoffs, HOA fees, property tax adjustments, title insurance premiums, and lender-specific charges
- Validate all closing figures against loan documents and client instructions
- Coordinate fund disbursements and ensure proper distribution to all parties
- Work toward closing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and zero-error standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy with financial calculations and data entry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with clients and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple transactions while meeting firm deadlines
- Familiarity with real estate closing procedures and terminology
