Updike Distribution Logistics is hiring a full-time CDL A Regional Truck Driver based in North Las Vegas, Clark County. We're a regional carrier operating across Arizona, Southern California, Northern California, Nevada, and Utah, looking for experienced drivers who value fair compensation and consistent work.
About the Role
As a CDL A Regional Truck Driver with Updike Distribution Logistics, you'll operate a commercial vehicle across our multi-state network, transporting freight safely and on schedule. This full-time position involves time on the road, vehicle maintenance checks, and close coordination with our dispatch team to ensure timely, professional deliveries.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial truck across Arizona, Southern California, Northern California, Nevada, and Utah
- Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments
- Drive safely and defensively to protect yourself, cargo, and other road users
What We're Looking For
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2+ years of verifiable CDL A driving experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT compliance and safety regulations
- Reliable communication and professional demeanor
- Commitment to vehicle maintenance and safe driving practices
- Ability to meet delivery deadlines and manage time effectively
Compensation
Competitive mileage-based pay starting at 54 cents per mile, with performance bonuses available up to 59.5 cents per mile. Layover pay of $75 per 24-hour period is also provided.
