NANA Regional Corporation seeks a Senior Network Engineer for our San Antonio office to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise-grade network infrastructure across our terrestrial connectivity operations in Bexar County, Texas.
About the Role
As Senior Network Engineer, you will take ownership of critical network systems that serve enterprise and commercial clients. This is a full-time position based on-site in San Antonio where you'll architect and oversee the deployment of WAN solutions, manage inside plant infrastructure, and ensure the reliability and security of network connectivity that powers business-critical operations.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of terrestrial network connectivity solutions, including fiber optic and copper-based inside plant infrastructure
- Engineer and deploy secure WAN architectures that meet enterprise and commercial internet access requirements
- Manage network operations, troubleshooting, and optimization to maintain uptime and performance across production systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust network designs
- Oversee network security protocols, compliance standards, and risk mitigation strategies
- Support network planning and capacity analysis for current and future client demands
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience designing and supporting terrestrial network infrastructure and WAN connectivity
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and network security best practices
- Demonstrated expertise in inside plant infrastructure and physical layer network architecture
- Strong project leadership and technical communication skills
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions under pressure
- Industry certifications (such as CCNP, JNCIE, or equivalent) preferred
