This position combines consultative guidance, loan structuring expertise, and relationship development to help individuals and families achieve homeownership while supporting the real estate professionals who refer business to your team.

What You'll Do

• Meet with prospective borrowers to understand their financial situations, homeownership goals, and timeline
• Present suitable mortgage products and financing options tailored to each client's needs and credit profile
• Explain loan terms, rates, closing costs, and the overall mortgage process in clear, accessible language
• Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and title companies to move applications toward closing
• Maintain regular contact with real estate agents and brokers to strengthen partnerships and address their clients' financing questions
• Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission to underwriting
• Stay current with lending regulations, rate environments, and mortgage products to provide informed recommendations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a mortgage loan officer or similar residential lending role
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgage products, underwriting standards, and closing procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-specialists
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining professional relationships
• Organized, detail-oriented approach to documentation and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously and meet closing timelines
• Active mortgage loan originator license or willingness to obtain one
