International PFASs Forensics Subject Matter Expert

CDM Smith is seeking an International PFASs Forensics Subject Matter Expert for a full-time position based in Saint Andrews, Charleston County. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical technical work addressing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination for clients navigating complex regulatory and environmental challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

About the Role

As an International PFASs Forensics Subject Matter Expert, you'll provide advanced technical leadership on PFAS contamination investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation strategies. You'll serve as a primary technical resource for clients facing PFAS-related environmental challenges, combining forensic expertise with international regulatory knowledge to deliver defensible solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead forensic investigations into PFAS sources, pathways, and environmental impacts using advanced analytical methodologies
• Develop and implement comprehensive PFAS testing and sampling strategies tailored to site-specific conditions
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions and evolving international PFAS standards
• Conduct environmental assessments and support remediation planning for PFAS-impacted sites
• Provide technical expertise to project teams and clients, translating complex forensic findings into actionable recommendations
• Stay current with emerging PFAS science, analytical techniques, and regulatory developments globally

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated expertise in PFAS forensics, environmental chemistry, or related analytical science
• Strong understanding of PFAS regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions and international contexts
• Proven ability to lead complex technical investigations and communicate findings to diverse audiences
• Experience with environmental site assessments, contamination source identification, or forensic investigation
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, geology, engineering, or related field
