What We're Looking For

• Valid US driver's license (21 years or older)
• Vehicle that meets Lyft's age, safety, and insurance requirements
• Clean driving record and passing background check
• Personal auto insurance meeting state minimums for Virginia
• Ability to communicate effectively with passengers
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Earning Potential

New drivers can earn up to $400 in bonuses in the Washington, D.C. region, including earning $100 for every 10 rides completed within 7 days (maximum of 4 bonuses). Your earnings come from ride fares, and terms apply to all promotions. You keep control of your income based on how often and how much you drive.
