About the Role
As a Lyft driver, you'll be part of a growing network of independent contractors who provide safe, friendly transportation to passengers across the Elsmere region. This is a flexible, part-time earning opportunity—work as much or as little as your schedule allows.
What You'll Do
- Pick up passengers through the Lyft app and transport them to their destinations
- Provide a safe, clean, and welcoming ride experience
- Navigate routes efficiently and communicate clearly with passengers
- Maintain your vehicle in good condition and follow all traffic laws
- Build your reputation through excellent customer service
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and proof of valid auto insurance
- A reliable vehicle that meets Lyft's age and condition requirements
- Clean driving record and safe driving history
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time
- Comfort with smartphone technology and the Lyft app
- Willingness to undergo a background check
New Driver Opportunity Bonus
New drivers in the Philadelphia region, including Elsmere, are eligible for up to $400 in sign-up bonuses. Earn $100 for every 10 rides completed within 7 days, with a maximum of four bonuses available. Terms apply.
