About the Role
As a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Titan Medical Group, you'll provide critical diagnostic imaging services in Los Alamitos. This 13-week contract role runs on a day shift schedule—five 8-hour days per week—giving you the predictable hours and geographic flexibility that travel healthcare professionals seek.
What You'll Do
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to physician orders and established safety protocols
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and camera systems for diagnostic procedures
- Position patients correctly to optimize image quality and diagnostic accuracy
- Prepare and quality-assure radiopharmaceutical agents prior to use
- Document patient information, imaging results, and procedural data with precision
- Maintain full compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to support patient care
- Perform daily equipment quality control and preventive maintenance tasks
What We're Looking For
- Current NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification
- Valid state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Hands-on experience with nuclear medicine imaging procedures and equipment
- Solid understanding of radiation safety principles and regulations
- Detail-oriented approach to patient care and procedure documentation
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in clinical teams
- Commitment to travel healthcare assignments
