About the Role
As a Territory Representative for Benjamin Moore, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers across your assigned New York Metro region. This role combines field sales, account management, and customer service to deliver consistent support, build strong partnerships, and expand Benjamin Moore's presence in the New York Metro market. You'll work independently and collaboratively with regional teams to meet customer needs and drive business results.
What You'll Do
- Manage and expand customer relationships within your assigned territory in the New York Metro area
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts
- Provide expert product knowledge, recommendations, and support to customers
- Conduct regular site visits and consultations to understand customer needs
- Process orders, manage pricing negotiations, and ensure timely fulfillment
- Report on market conditions, customer feedback, and territory performance
- Represent Benjamin Moore professionally at customer locations and industry events
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales and customer management experience in a territory-based or field sales role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time and priorities independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for New York Metro travel
- Ability to learn product specifications and provide technical guidance
- Comfortable with CRM software and basic sales reporting tools
- Customer-first mindset and commitment to service excellence
