Class A Company Driver, Semi-Local, Tanker trailer

DIXON BROS INC is looking for a Class A Company Driver to operate tanker trailers on semi-local routes from our Fort Yates, Iowa location. This is a full-time position with a established leader in tank truck transportation across the Upper Rocky Mountain region and the Dakotas.

About the Role

As a Class A Company Driver with DIXON BROS INC, you'll transport petroleum products and specialized cargo using company-owned tanker trailers on regional routes. You'll be responsible for safe, compliant operation of commercial vehicles, maintaining equipment, and delivering loads on schedule while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles pulling tanker trailers on semi-local routes
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
• Transport petroleum products and other regulated cargo safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
• Manage loading and unloading procedures or coordinate with customer facilities
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical
• Professional experience operating commercial vehicles and tanker trailers
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Excellent communication skills and reliability
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
