About the Role
As a Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor for Greenlife Healthcare Staffing, you will evaluate healthcare facilities' compliance with federal and state nutrition care standards and dietary regulations. This position requires travel to multiple facilities throughout Massachusetts, with all expenses fully covered by the company, including a company-issued American Express card for travel-related expenses.
What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site facility surveys to assess nutritional care quality and dietary compliance standards
- Evaluate adherence to CMS regulations and state licensing requirements related to nutrition and food service
- Review patient nutrition care plans, dietary documentation, and therapeutic diet compliance
- Assess food service operations, sanitation practices, and meal quality standards
- Interview facility staff and patients regarding nutrition-related care and services
- Document survey findings and prepare comprehensive compliance reports
- Provide recommendations to facilities for nutrition care improvements and regulatory adherence
What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training certification (required)
- SMQT (State Minimum Qualifications Test) certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of nutrition regulations, standards of care, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage survey schedules across multiple locations
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout Massachusetts
