Dean's Professional Services is hiring a full-time MDACC Patient Escort to support patient care operations at our Houston healthcare facility in Southgate. This essential role directly impacts patient experience by providing welcoming, responsive assistance to visitors and patients throughout the hospital.

About the Role

As an MDACC Patient Escort, you'll serve as a patient-focused resource helping people navigate our medical center with confidence and ease. Whether directing patients to departments, assisting with accessibility needs, or answering questions with warmth and professionalism, you'll contribute to a supportive care environment where patients feel cared for from the moment they arrive.

What You'll Do

• Guide patients and visitors to treatment areas, clinics, waiting rooms, and other hospital locations
• Provide mobility assistance and accessibility support throughout the facility
• Respond to questions and requests with professionalism and genuine care
• Communicate patient flow and needs to clinical and administrative staff
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized patient-facing areas
• Uphold hospital standards for patient privacy, confidentiality, and service excellence

What We're Looking For

• Dependable, empathetic individual with excellent communication skills
• Ability to remain composed and helpful in a dynamic healthcare setting
• Physical stamina to assist patients and move throughout the facility during full shifts
• Understanding of patient privacy and HIPAA principles
• Flexibility to work full-time shifts including early mornings (6:45 AM start available)
• Eagerness to learn hospital procedures and contribute to a patient-centered mission

Schedule and Compensation

Full-time position with two shift options: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM or 8:45 AM – 7:15 PM. Days vary based on facility scheduling. Starting pay rate is $15.11 per hour.
