About the Role
As a Nursing Assistant on our Med/Surg team, you'll work alongside registered nurses and physicians to provide compassionate, hands-on patient care. Your role is essential to patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout their hospital stay. What You'll Do
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Help patients with mobility, positioning, and transferring safely
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient environments
- Report patient concerns and changes in condition to nursing staff
- Support nursing staff with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Communicate with patients and families with empathy and professionalism
What We're Looking For
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or Nursing Assistant license
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to assist patients and stand for extended periods
- Reliability and commitment to supporting your healthcare team
- Willingness to maintain patient confidentiality and follow health and safety protocols
