Procurement Technology Lead

About the Role

This position sits within our Systems Governance and Architecture team, part of the Procurement Strategy and Business Intelligence (PSBI) organization. You'll lead the strategic adoption of next-generation procurement technologies and methodologies, working to strengthen operational rigor while ensuring robust regulatory compliance across our procurement processes.

What You'll Do

• Design and oversee procurement technology initiatives that modernize how the function operates and delivers value
• Develop governance frameworks and architectural standards that ensure scalability, compliance, and system reliability
• Partner with procurement, operations, and IT teams to identify technology gaps and implement sustainable solutions
• Establish and maintain regulatory controls and audit-ready processes within technology systems
• Lead technology adoption initiatives, driving organizational change and building capability across stakeholder groups
• Monitor emerging tools and methodologies in procurement technology and recommend strategic enhancements

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated leadership experience in procurement technology, systems implementation, or similar strategic technology roles
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, regulatory requirements, and governance best practices
• Proficiency with procurement platforms, ERP systems, data analytics, and business intelligence tools
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving adoption of complex technology solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
• Full-time commitment to this Chicago-based position
