About the Role
As a Delivery Driver for US Foods, Inc., you'll operate a commercial delivery truck to transport food products and supplies to restaurants, foodservice establishments, and other business customers throughout the region. This is a full-time driving position that combines customer service, logistics, and safe vehicle operation into one rewarding career path.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial delivery truck safely and professionally on assigned routes throughout Salida and surrounding areas
- Load and unload food products, beverages, and supplies with care and efficiency
- Deliver orders to restaurants, food service distributors, and hospitality businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A (Commercial Driver's License Class A) with a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and load food products regularly
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to grow and advance within a professional organization
Compensation
We offer competitive pay starting with a training base rate of $33.43 per hour. After training, compensation transitions to component pay based on miles, cases, and stops, with hourly pay provided for any downtime—rewarding both your productivity and reliability.
