About the Role
In this full-time apprenticeship position, you'll work under the direction of experienced linemen on electrical utility construction projects. You'll gain practical experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of power distribution and transmission infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Assist in construction and installation of high-voltage transmission lines
- Support underground electrical system work
- Participate in distribution line installation and maintenance
- Help with emergency restoration and repair operations
- Learn and apply industry safety standards and procedures
- Use climbing, rigging, and utility equipment under supervision
- Work collaboratively with experienced crew members
What We're Looking For
- Current apprenticeship status at Level 5-8, B Lineman classification
- Valid driver's license
- Physical capability to work at heights and perform manual labor
- Commitment to safety and compliance with established procedures
- Reliable and professional work ethic
