Retail Technician (CDL)

Clean Harbors is hiring a full-time Retail Technician (CDL) in Magnolia Grove, Houston, to join our environmental services team. If you have a valid driver's license and are ready to earn your Class B CDL while building a career in waste management and recycling, we'll train and support you every step of the way.

About the Role

As a Retail Technician with a CDL B license, you'll be the face of Clean Harbors in the field—delivering critical environmental solutions directly to customers. You'll handle the safe collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products, manage specialized recycling streams, and perform on-site cleanup activities that keep communities and businesses compliant with environmental regulations.

What You'll Do

• Collect and safely dispose of damaged, discarded, or recalled merchandise from retail and commercial locations
• Manage recycling operations for light bulbs, used oil, oil filters, engine fluids, and other hazardous or specialty materials
• Perform on-site cleanup and environmental remediation activities as assigned
• Operate company vehicles and equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Document services, maintain accurate records, and communicate with customers professionally
• Follow all environmental, safety, and DOT regulations governing hazardous waste handling

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL (Clean Harbors provides paid training)
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials
• Strong attention to safety protocols and environmental compliance
• Reliability and professionalism when interacting with customers
• Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and varying weather
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
