About the Role
As Maintenance Mechanic, you'll play an essential role in keeping our facility operating smoothly, ensuring all mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure support safe, quality patient care. This full-time position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $24 to $32 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, equipment, and building infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, implementing effective solutions
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from nursing and clinical staff
- Document all maintenance activities and equipment repairs for compliance and safety records
- Collaborate with facilities and engineering teams to maintain hospital standards
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations and hospital protocols
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar mechanical repair role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or HVAC
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and respond to urgent requests
