About the Role

As a Department Leader at McDonald's, you'll take ownership of your assigned department or shift, ensuring that every customer receives a consistently excellent experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational management with team mentorship, making you central to the restaurant's day-to-day success.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise team members during your assigned shift or department, modeling exceptional work standards and professionalism
• Maintain food safety, quality, and preparation standards in accordance with McDonald's procedures and local health regulations
• Train crew members on operational procedures, customer service protocols, and safety requirements
• Monitor inventory levels, flag shortages, and support stock management to minimize waste
• Ensure the dining area, kitchen, and service stations remain clean, organized, and compliant with company standards
• Respond to customer concerns with professionalism and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and equipment checks
• Communicate effectively with managers and crew to keep operations running smoothly
