Heavy Haul CDL-A Driver

Gpac, a growing regional heavy haul carrier, is hiring CDL-A drivers in Bemis, Madison County to support expansion serving major infrastructure and construction projects. This full-time position offers consistent work, modern equipment, and a supportive team environment.

About the Role

As a Heavy Haul CDL-A Driver, you'll operate commercial vehicles transporting oversized freight for large-scale construction, infrastructure, and industrial clients throughout the region. Gpac prioritizes steady, consistent loads, well-maintained equipment, and operational support to help you succeed.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles hauling oversized and specialized loads
• Plan efficient routes and coordinate with dispatch on delivery schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain required documentation
• Comply with DOT regulations, weight restrictions, and permitting requirements
• Communicate with project teams and dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries
• Execute load-securing and positioning safely at project sites

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with heavy haul or flatbed endorsement
• Current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC card)
• Minimum 2–3 years recent commercial driving experience
• Clean driving record and passing DOT medical certification
• Knowledge of oversized load regulations and permitting
• Strong safety mindset and professional communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

Gpac offers annual compensation of $100,000–$130,000 based on experience, plus health insurance coverage, paid vacation, and paid holidays. You'll work with steady freight assignments and a team committed to your growth.
