As a Small Business Loan Specialist at 7 17 Credit Union, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and entrepreneurs across Northeast Ohio. This position puts you at the intersection of financial expertise and community impact, where you'll guide business owners through the lending process and help turn their growth plans into reality.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate small business loan applications by reviewing financial statements, business plans, and credit history
• Conduct credit analysis and financial assessments to determine loan viability and eligibility
• Originate and structure loan products tailored to each business's specific needs and growth stage
• Build and maintain relationships with existing business members to understand their financial goals and evolving needs
• Educate business owners on loan products, terms, rates, and the application process
• Prepare loan documentation, underwriting summaries, and credit recommendations for review
• Collaborate with loan committees and underwriting teams to bring loans to closure
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations, credit policies, and risk management standards
