Senior Human Factors Researcher

Oracle is hiring a Senior Human Factors Researcher for our healthcare division in La Cienga, Santa Fe County. In this full-time role, you'll lead user research and human-centered design initiatives that transform how healthcare professionals and patients interact with clinical technology.

About the Role

As a Senior Human Factors Researcher at Oracle Health, you'll direct research programs that shape product direction and enhance user experience across healthcare platforms. Your findings will influence how clinicians deliver care and how patients engage with health systems. You'll apply expertise in behavioral science, user research methodologies, and interaction design to address critical healthcare challenges.

What You'll Do

• Lead comprehensive user research studies including interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, and field research with healthcare providers and patients
• Investigate user behaviors, clinical workflows, and pain points to inform product strategy and design decisions
• Develop evidence-based recommendations that integrate clinical requirements, regulatory considerations, and user needs
• Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to implement human-centered solutions across healthcare applications
• Present research insights and translate findings into actionable guidance for stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Build and mentor research talent while advancing user-centered design practices across Oracle Health

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in human factors research, user experience research, or related field with proven impact on product outcomes
• Demonstrated expertise in qualitative and quantitative research design and analysis
• Knowledge of healthcare systems, clinical workflows, or regulated industries
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to influence decisions through clear, compelling research narratives
• Advanced degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent professional background
• Proficiency with research platforms, analysis tools, and UX research software
