About the Role

As Associate Director of Strategy & Operations for our Genetic Medicines Clinical Development Unit, you will serve as a key operational leader, working directly with senior leadership to shape how we execute on our ambitious clinical programs. This is a full-time, on-site position where strategic thinking and operational rigor drive the future of genetic medicine development.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Clinical Development Unit leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with company goals and regulatory timelines
• Oversee operational processes, workflows, and resource allocation across multiple programs and teams
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce cycle time, and enhance quality in clinical development activities
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial metrics to ensure programs remain on track and within resource constraints
• Identify operational gaps and opportunities for process improvement, implementation, and measurement
• Communicate progress, risks, and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Drive adoption of best practices and operational standards across the genetic medicines portfolio

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, clinical development, strategy, or program management
• Track record of success in fast-paced, complex, and highly regulated environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort working with data to drive decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences from scientists to executives
• MBA or advanced degree preferred; equivalent experience in pharmaceutical or biotech operations equally valued
• Familiarity with clinical development processes, genetic medicine, or biologics is a plus
