About the Role
As a Visualization Artist focused on visual impact assessment, you'll play a key role in translating conceptual designs into immersive visual experiences. Working within Stantec's Design Visualization Services (DVS) team, you'll contribute to projects that showcase architectural, engineering, and environmental design solutions to stakeholders, clients, and communities. Your expertise in visualization will help clients understand project impacts and make informed decisions about complex infrastructure and development initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Create high-quality 3D models, renderings, and animations for design and impact assessment projects
- Develop visual impact assessments that communicate environmental and design implications of proposed projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to translate design intent into compelling visual narratives
- Apply cutting-edge visualization software and technologies to produce client-ready deliverables
- Work on internationally-focused projects that require attention to detail and technical excellence
- Contribute to a portfolio of diverse design visualization work across multiple disciplines
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in professional 3D modeling and rendering software such as SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, Rhino, or equivalent platforms
- Experience creating visual impact assessments or similar visualization-driven projects
- Strong visual communication skills and demonstrated artistic sensibility
- Ability to translate technical design information into engaging visual content
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in architectural or environmental visualization
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work on deadline
