About the Role

We're seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer to lead our marketing strategy and accelerate brand relevance in a rapidly evolving marketplace. This is a strategic business leadership role—not a campaign execution position. You'll own the end-to-end marketing function, from brand positioning and consumer insights to digital transformation and customer acquisition across Denny's national footprint.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth
• Lead marketing teams and oversee budget allocation across advertising, digital, social media, and promotional initiatives
• Build and manage data-driven customer insights programs to inform product development and market positioning
• Drive digital transformation efforts, including e-commerce, mobile applications, and loyalty program optimization
• Collaborate with operations, franchisee leadership, and restaurant partners to align marketing with business objectives
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities
• Manage brand reputation, communications strategy, and stakeholder relationships

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of marketing experience with proven success in brand leadership, preferably in food service, hospitality, or consumer-facing industries
• Track record of developing and executing strategies that drove measurable business growth and brand transformation
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large marketing budgets and ROI optimization
• Deep expertise in digital marketing, customer analytics, and omnichannel marketing strategy
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
• MBA or equivalent advanced business education preferred
• Strategic thinker who balances brand building with performance marketing
