Industrial Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Join CDM Smith's East Derry office as an Industrial Water/Wastewater Project Manager. This full-time position is for a hands-on leader ready to oversee mission-critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About the Role

You'll manage the complete lifecycle of industrial water and wastewater projects, from initial concept through final delivery. Leading cross-functional teams, you'll drive projects to successful completion while maintaining strict adherence to budgets, timelines, and regulatory requirements. Your combination of technical expertise and leadership will ensure clients receive outstanding results and lasting partnerships.

What You'll Do

• Direct project execution across all phases, from planning and design coordination through construction and closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects deliver on time and on budget
• Lead engineering teams and coordinate efforts with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
• Manage client communications and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all work meets EPA standards, state regulations, and industry compliance requirements
• Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track
• Support the professional development of team members within your project group

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of project management experience in water treatment, wastewater systems, or industrial utilities
• Deep understanding of water/wastewater treatment technology, processes, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Competency with project management tools and relevant industry software
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent technical credentials preferred
