Host-Red Tail – Full & Part Time/Summer Seasonal – Canyons Resort

Vail Resorts is seeking a Host to join the dining team at Canyons Resort, located in Park City, Utah. This part-time position offers the opportunity to be the first point of contact for restaurant guests, creating lasting impressions and ensuring smooth operations in a premier hospitality setting.

About the Role

This Host position puts you at the heart of the guest experience, welcoming visitors and coordinating the flow of dining service. You'll manage reservations, guide guests to their tables, and work alongside our servers and kitchen team to maintain the high-touch hospitality that Vail Resorts is known for. Your role is essential to keeping our restaurant running efficiently while ensuring every guest feels valued from the moment they walk through the door.

What You'll Do

• Welcome arriving guests and guide them to available tables with attentive, genuine hospitality
• Manage reservation scheduling and maintain accurate records of bookings throughout the service period
• Coordinate seating assignments to balance table occupancy and kitchen capacity
• Complete opening procedures, including register preparation, station setup, and facility readiness
• Handle cashier responsibilities and maintain accurate financial records at shift close
• Collaborate with service staff to communicate guest needs and optimize table turnover
• Maintain professional composure during busy dining periods
