About the Role

You'll work on the frontlines of community safety, building trust-based relationships with young people and creating pathways to opportunity. Your schedule runs 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., allowing you to reach teens during the after-school and evening hours when prevention efforts have the greatest impact. • Facilitate workshops, group activities, and skill-building sessions focused on resilience, decision-making, and life alternatives
  • Work with families to strengthen home support systems and remove barriers to youth success
  • Collaborate with schools, law enforcement, social services, and community partners to coordinate prevention strategies
  • Document progress, track outcomes, and contribute to program evaluation and reporting

What We're Looking For

  • Professional or lived experience working with at-risk or justice-involved youth
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to connect authentically across difference
  • Crisis de-escalation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Commitment to asset-based, harm-reduction approaches to youth development
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (may be needed for outreach)

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 to $45,000 annually, plus benefits including 100% employer-paid health insurance and medical gap insurance for employees.
