Wolters Kluwer is hiring a Sales & Business Development Manager to lead enterprise field sales for nursing and higher education institutions. This is a remote position open to candidates across the United States, with a preference for those located in the Southeast region (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama).
About the Role
In this Sales & Business Development Manager role, you will drive enterprise-level sales growth within your assigned territory, focusing on the nursing and higher education market. You will identify qualified opportunities, develop strategic customer relationships, and work toward revenue targets that matter to our business. Your understanding of customer financial needs and business priorities will be central to building partnerships that create lasting value.
What You'll Do
- Manage your sales territory with a focus on prospecting, qualifying, and closing enterprise-level business opportunities
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with institutional decision-makers and key stakeholders in nursing education and higher education organizations
- Analyze customer business needs and apply financial acumen to recommend solutions that address their core challenges
- Drive toward and exceed revenue targets through consistent pipeline development and sales execution
- Conduct product presentations and needs assessments that demonstrate clear value to enterprise buyers
- Coordinate internal resources to support complex sales cycles and customer onboarding
- Work independently in a remote environment while maintaining regular communication with your sales team
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated success in enterprise field sales, business development, or account management within professional services, healthcare, or education
- Strong grasp of consultative selling, financial decision-making, and relationship management at the institutional level
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with the capacity to influence across different organizational levels
- Self-motivated approach to independent remote work with proven ability to manage territory and pipeline
- Willingness to travel within your territory to meet customers and prospects as needed
- Background or familiarity with nursing education or higher education is advantageous
