As a Maintenance Aide, you'll work alongside our experienced maintenance team to keep AristaCare At Cedar Oaks operating smoothly. You'll gain hands-on experience with building systems, equipment, and facilities while developing practical skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What You'll Do
- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs on building equipment and systems
- Support work in plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling, and basic carpentry
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to keep facilities operating efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and instructions from supervisors and senior maintenance staff
- Use hand and power tools to complete assigned maintenance work
- Document work completed and communicate maintenance needs to management
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and storage spaces
What We're Looking For
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, repair techniques, and building maintenance
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to learn from experienced maintenance professionals
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Physical capability to lift, carry, climb, and perform manual labor regularly
- Reliable attendance and commitment to a full-time schedule
