We are looking for a mechanical engineer with Python expertise to design computational engineering problems for AI model testing. The work involves writing reference solutions, testing problems against AI models, and calibrating the problems for optimal difficulty.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of research, applied, or teaching experience
- Python proficiency for writing reference solutions
- Fluency with at least one scriptable mechanical engineering package (e.g., Cantera, CoolProp, CalculiX, OpenFAST)
- Ability to design problems that genuinely require a specialized solver
- Strong written English (C1+)
