Senior Business Analyst, SBDC – Dreambuilder

Yavapai College is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for the DreamBuilder program to lead entrepreneurial development and small business support in Prescott and Yavapai County. About the Role

The DreamBuilder Senior Business Analyst serves as the central hub in a dynamic ecosystem of entrepreneurs, educational partners, and economic development stakeholders. You'll identify and recruit emerging business owners and students, then guide them through structured programming designed to build confidence, refine business models, and establish pathways to growth. This role bridges the gap between the Small Business Development Center, Yavapai College's educational offerings, community organizations, and local economic development initiatives—ensuring every participant receives coordinated, high-impact support.

What You'll Do

• Recruit and enroll entrepreneurs and small business owners into the DreamBuilder program
• Coordinate and facilitate training workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and peer networking events
• Build and maintain partnerships with community colleges, business advisors, lenders, and economic development agencies
• Track participant progress, outcomes, and program metrics to demonstrate impact
• Provide direct support and guidance to help business founders overcome challenges and achieve milestones
• Develop program content and materials that reflect current business trends and local economic needs

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in business development, entrepreneurship support, or small business consulting
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse audiences
• Ability to organize, coordinate, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Knowledge of Small Business Development Center services and resource networks
• Passion for supporting entrepreneurs and fostering economic opportunity in Yavapai County
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, education, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
