AI Storyboard & Video Artist (Contractor)

Crazy Maple Studio, a fast-growing media company headquartered in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, is hiring an AI Storyboard & Video Artist (Contractor) based in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County. In this full-time position, you'll help create compelling visual narratives for one of the U.S.'s leading digital platforms.

About the Role

As an AI Storyboard & Video Artist at Crazy Maple Studio, you'll combine traditional storyboarding techniques with AI-powered tools to develop visual concepts and video content for our episodic streaming platform. You'll work with our creative team to bring stories to life through innovative visual design and artistic direction.

What You'll Do

• Develop storyboards and visual concepts for episodic content
• Utilize AI tools and techniques to enhance creative workflows
• Collaborate with writers, directors, and producers to ensure visual coherence
• Create video assets that align with narrative vision and platform guidelines
• Refine and iterate on artwork based on feedback and creative direction
• Manage timelines and deliver quality work that meets production schedules

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in storyboarding, animation, or video production
• Proficiency with digital art tools and emerging AI-assisted creative software
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and composition
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced creative environments
• Portfolio demonstrating artistic range and technical capability
• Experience with episodic or serialized content (preferred)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
