QA Technician – Night Shift

Peco Foods is hiring a full-time QA Technician for the Night Shift at our Sharon, Madison County facility. In this role, you'll be the eyes and ears of our quality assurance team, ensuring every product leaving our poultry processing plant meets strict food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

As a QA Technician working nights, you'll conduct systematic quality monitoring throughout our production operations. This is hands-on, detail-oriented work that directly protects consumer safety and maintains our reputation for excellence.

What You'll Do

• Execute HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) inspections and documentation
• Perform GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure) assessments
• Conduct on-site quality checks throughout the processing facility
• Identify and document deviations from food safety and quality standards
• Report findings to your departmental supervisor and escalate issues requiring immediate attention
• Monitor compliance with company policies and federal regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to resolve quality concerns

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and HACCP procedures (or willingness to train)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized inspection procedures
• Reliable, consistent attendance for night shift schedule
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to supervisors and team members
• Physical ability to walk and stand throughout the shift
• Professional demeanor and commitment to food safety standards
