Broker Dealer Operations Specialist, Alternative Investments

Guardian Life seeks a detail-oriented Broker Dealer Operations Specialist, Alternative Investments to join our operations team at our Manhattan headquarters in Grand Central. In this full-time position, you'll manage mission-critical operations that keep our alternative investment clients' transactions flowing smoothly from onboarding through settlement and ongoing servicing.

About the Role

This position is central to delivering exceptional customer and transaction servicing for our alternative investment products. You'll own the complete operational lifecycle—from initial client setup through transaction execution, account reconciliation, and service requests—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and satisfaction at every touchpoint. Your work directly impacts how efficiently our alternative investments division serves its clients.

What You'll Do

• Process end-to-end client onboarding workflows, including documentation collection, account setup, and regulatory verification
• Execute and monitor transactions related to alternative investment products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform daily, monthly, and period-end reconciliation activities, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Handle client servicing requests with professionalism and responsiveness, managing inquiries through resolution
• Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with broker-dealer and industry regulations
• Collaborate with sales, compliance, and investment teams to streamline operations and improve processes

What We're Looking For

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfort interacting with clients, colleagues, and external partners
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Experience in broker-dealer operations, transaction processing, or alternative investments (preferred but not required)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a structured, fast-moving environment
• Familiarity with securities industry operations or similar regulated financial services environments
