About the Role
Reporting to the building principal, you'll lead Career & Technical Education (CTE) instruction that connects classroom learning to real-world pathways. This is an opportunity to transform how students in northeastern North Carolina see their futures through relevant STEM and business education that prepares them for both degree programs and industry-recognized credentials.
What You'll Do
- Deliver standards-aligned STEM and business instruction to high school students
- Create engaging learning experiences that build technical competencies and academic confidence
- Facilitate hands-on projects, labs, and problem-solving activities in technology, engineering, computer science, and business
- Assess student learning and provide targeted feedback to support progress toward academic and technical goals
- Maintain safe, well-organized classroom and lab environments with proper equipment management
- Collaborate with colleagues, guidance counselors, and community partners to strengthen career awareness and pathways
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in business, technology, computer science, engineering, or related STEM fields
- Proven ability to teach high school students with diverse learning needs
