As a Seasonal Immunizing Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in our community's health by administering vaccinations and providing expert patient guidance on immunization. What You'll Do
- Administer vaccines and immunizations in accordance with CDC guidelines and pharmacy protocols
- Counsel patients about vaccine benefits, side effects, and appropriate immunization schedules
- Maintain accurate immunization records and documentation
- Manage vaccine inventory, storage, and handling to ensure quality and safety
- Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage for vaccinations
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Stay current with immunization guidelines and regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- Current pharmacist license
- Immunizing Pharmacist certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical knowledge of vaccines and immunization protocols
