Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Tech I to join the imaging team at our Saint Francis facility in Milwaukee County. About the Role
As a Radiologic Tech I in our part-time program, you'll work approximately 20 hours per week with the flexibility to rotate across first, second, and third shifts. This position includes weekend, call, and holiday rotation opportunities, making it ideal for technologists seeking varied scheduling arrangements without sacrificing meaningful clinical work. Part-time employees are benefits-eligible, and you'll earn a competitive hourly rate of $28.55 to $57.30 based on experience and qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Operate radiographic imaging equipment following established safety and quality protocols
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures and explain processes to ensure comfort and compliance
- Capture high-quality radiographs using proper positioning and technical parameters
- Maintain radiographic equipment in proper working order and report maintenance needs
- Document patient information, imaging procedures, and findings accurately
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support patient care
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control measures
What We're Looking For
- Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent credential
- Wisconsin radiography license or ability to obtain licensure
- Proficiency in radiographic equipment operation and imaging techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patients
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts, weekends, and rotating schedules
- Commitment to quality patient care and safety standards
