Brigade Health is hiring a part-time Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Geriatric Behavioral Health in Los Angeles, to deliver consultative behavioral health care for older adults living in assisted living communities.
About the Role
As a Geriatric Behavioral Health Psychiatrist with Brigade Health, you will serve as a consultative physician focused on the mental and behavioral wellbeing of seniors. This flexible, remote-friendly position offers leadership opportunities and is well suited to a clinician who values meaningful, relationship-centered psychiatric care. While we have a strong preference for candidates based in Los Angeles or Orange County, qualified Psychiatrists from other areas are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultative psychiatric evaluation and behavioral health support for older adults in assisted living settings.
- Develop and guide individualized treatment approaches tailored to geriatric patients.
- Collaborate with on-site care teams and interdisciplinary partners to coordinate behavioral health services.
- Contribute clinical leadership and help shape the delivery of geriatric behavioral health care.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with an active license to practice psychiatry.
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Interest or experience in geriatric and behavioral health populations.
- Comfort working within assisted living environments and consultative care models.
- Strong preference for candidates located in Los Angeles or Orange County, though others will be considered.
