About the Role

As a Principal Missile Defense Architecture Engineer/Analyst at Nou Systems Inc, you will serve as a senior technical contributor driving architecture analysis and systems engineering for complex missile defense programs. This is a hands-on technical leadership position where your expertise directly shapes the capabilities that protect our nation's defense posture.

What You'll Do

• Develop, evaluate, and refine system architectures for missile defense programs, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and acquisition strategy
• Conduct rigorous trade studies and technical assessments to inform architecture decisions across sensor, interceptor, and command-and-control domains
• Decompose top-level system requirements and trace them through architecture artifacts to lower-level specifications
• Engage directly with government customers and program offices, providing data-driven insights that strengthen defense system capabilities
• Support systems engineering technical reviews, including SRRs, SDRs, PDRs, and CDRs
• Produce high-quality architecture documentation, briefings, and analysis products for senior stakeholder audiences
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams — engineers, analysts, and program managers — in a highly team-oriented environment

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher in systems engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or a closely related discipline
• Significant experience in missile defense systems engineering, architecture analysis, or defense acquisition programs
• Deep familiarity with DoD systems engineering processes, standards, and technical review frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Active DoD security clearance (required for this role)
• Strong analytical skills with experience applying data-driven methods to architecture and performance assessments
