Oracle is hiring a Senior Construction Manager, Power Infrastructure to join its Cedar, Cole County team and lead high-impact electrical and power delivery projects that keep large-scale data center operations running reliably and at scale.
About the Role
In this full-time position, you will own end-to-end construction management for critical power infrastructure initiatives tied directly to Oracle's global data center expansion. Working at the intersection of utility coordination, project controls, and multi-disciplinary field execution, you will be the driving force behind on-time, on-budget delivery of complex electrical systems.
What You'll Do
- Lead construction execution across power infrastructure projects, including high-voltage switchgear, transformers, substations, and distribution systems supporting data center campuses
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk registers, proactively identifying and resolving scope, cost, and timeline variances
- Serve as the primary liaison with power developers, utilities, equipment vendors, and general contractors to align deliverables and maintain critical path milestones
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews, enforcing quality standards, safety compliance, and applicable building and electrical codes
- Coordinate permit acquisition, utility interconnection agreements, and regulatory approvals from project inception through commissioning
- Partner with internal engineering and design teams to validate constructability and resolve RFIs, submittals, and change orders efficiently
- Mentor junior construction personnel and contribute to the continuous improvement of Oracle's project delivery standards and processes
What We're Looking For
- Substantial experience managing construction of electrical or power infrastructure projects, ideally in data center, utility, or large commercial environments
- Deep understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, substation construction, generator plants, and associated civil/structural scopes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contractors and vendors simultaneously across concurrent workstreams
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent) and construction management platforms
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and relevant electrical safety standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting project status to executive and cross-functional audiences
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
