Injection Molding Technician Supervisor

Century Industries, an Oklahoma-based precision manufacturer operating in Ponca City, Kay County, is seeking a full-time Injection Molding Technician Supervisor to join its expanding production team — a hands-on leadership role at a company in the middle of significant growth.

About the Role

This position combines technical mastery of injection molding with frontline supervisory responsibility. You will keep production running at peak efficiency while coaching the technicians around you and ensuring every part meets quality standards. Century Industries works across steel processing, tool and die, and plastics manufacturing — giving this role real breadth in a fast-moving shop environment.

What You'll Do

• Set up, start, and monitor injection molding machines at the start of each production run
• Adjust process parameters — including temperature, pressure, shot size, and cycle time — to maintain dimensional accuracy and minimize scrap
• Troubleshoot mold, material, and machine issues quickly to protect production uptime
• Supervise, train, and direct injection molding technicians on the production floor
• Perform and oversee first-article and in-process quality inspections
• Coordinate with tooling and engineering staff on mold maintenance, repair scheduling, and continuous process improvement
• Document production data, shift reports, and non-conformance records accurately
• Enforce workplace safety standards and champion a clean, organized work environment

What We're Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience operating and setting up injection molding equipment
• Working knowledge of thermoplastic materials, mold construction, and runner systems
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot process defects such as sink marks, warpage, short shots, and flash
• Prior supervisory or lead technician experience in a manufacturing environment
• Comfort reading and interpreting technical drawings and part specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hitting quality and throughput targets
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-growth production setting
