Occupational Therapist / OTR – Part Time

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist / OTR with Aegis Therapies in Honolulu, you will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life across rehabilitation and long-term care settings. This part-time position offers a schedule of 20–29 hours per week, with pay ranging from $45 to $53 per hour, and is based at The Ching Villas in Honolulu. You will practice within rehabilitation center, skilled nursing facility, and long-term care environments, working alongside a collaborative and supportive clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and design individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with their goals and clinical needs.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to help patients restore function, mobility, and daily living skills.
• Document assessments, progress, and outcomes accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Partner with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and strategies to support ongoing recovery.

Qualifications

• Current, valid licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist / OTR in the state of Hawaii.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings is a strong advantage.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
